The chief executive of highly successful service guide website about.com has spoken of the numerous accomplishments the firm has achieved in recent months.
Speaking to the editor of Business 2.0 magazine Erick Schonfeld, Scott Meyer said that the firm had plans to expand even further and would like to take its services "to the next level".
According to Mr Schonfeld, about.com is already in the top 100 most popular websites on the internet with its freelance guide employees publishing up to 3,000 articles a week.
Around ten percent of those who are taken on to write for the service are said to make up to $50,000 a year while a small per cent make up to $100,000.
The site attracts a massive 50 million visitors every month and the New York Times recently revealed that in May this year it had contributed $30 million in revenues, a 260 per cent increase on the same month in 2006.
Speaking about his future plans for the firm, Mr Meyer told Mr Schonfeld: "We are going to take an under-the-radar brand optimised for search and take it to the next level.
"Our pages per session, which is about six, is lower than we would like. But we have 50 million opportunities every month to present what this brand stands for."
