Big sales for education domain names

Further education was the theme behind a couple of the week's big-selling generic domain names.
BachelorsDegree.com and PsychologyDegree.com were sold for $62,500 and $25,000 respectively by NameMedia in the week's domain trading.
The pair were the latest in a clutch of education-themed generic domain names to have been sold by the company recently, Domain Name Wire reports.
It is thought that education could be a particularly fruitful market for generic domain name traders, with an increasing number of people considering courses as the economic downturn places job security under threat.
Other names on the market at present include AdultsLearning.com, available from £4,500, and AcceleratedCollegeDegree.com, which has a starting price of £3,600.
For a generic domain name more suited to the professional market, why not place a bid for PASchool.com, which can be bought for upwards of £30,000.
