A company which claims to operate "the world's largest bingo hall" using a generic domain name has announced year-on-year growth for the fourth quarter of last year.
According to CNN Money, Bingo.com has released its figures for the last three months of 2007 which the company claims is "considerably better" than the same period for the previous year.
Commenting on the growth, Bingo.com chief executive officer Tarrnie Williams said that the success of the company was largely due to its generic domain name and the revenue that it provides.
"The strength of our URL www.Bingo.com continues to provide us with new players at a very low acquisition cost compared to the competition
we are confident that our offering will continue its current rate of growth," he said.
He added that Bingo.com expected to continue to be a major figure in the online gaming market by utilising its domain to cope with a "highly competitive market."
Bingo.com offers a range of games for its users and claims to see over 800 new users every day.
