Generically named website Business.com, has been highlighted as a particularly good place for employees to work, it has been reported.
The search engine was recently included in the Los Angeles Business Journal's list of Best Places to Work in the region under the category of medium-sized businesses.
It is owned by the RH Donnelley Corporation and is used to connect corporate representatives with advertising firms.
Currently, the website serves more than 40 million business people and thousands of advertisers monthly.
Vice president and general manager of the site Rob Feinstein said that the firm has maintained high standards of recruitment since its founding in 1999.
"This combination of clear goals, personal responsibility and rewarding achievement, mixed with diverse co-workers and a healthy dose of fun is our winning recipe," he added.
