Buyer finds perfect partner in Wife.com

One buyer with an interest in developing some prime internet real estate has fallen for the generic domain name Wife.com.
The premium domain name sold for $100,000 at the end of last week after being auctioned by Moniker at the DomainFest Global convergence, reported Domain Name Journal.
It is currently being used as a search engine and point of connection for those searching for love and dating services online.
However, as a versatile generic domain name, Wife.com could be used for a large variety of purposes, such as a dating site, or a resource for engaged couples planning their big days.
Other generic domain names could be used by firms that deal in affairs of the heart or wedding planning, such as Pendants.com or FallWedding.com.
