A multi million dollar advertising campaign has been revealed by Cars.com that represents the group's largest ever marketing spend, AdWeek.com reports.
The generically named domain, which offers users news and advice on buying a new vehicle, has revealed that this weekend's $200 million US TV campaign will launch its new slogan "Confidence comes as standard".
It is thought that the advertisements represent an exciting time for Cars.com, which has increased its marketing budget from $20 million since 2006 and company president Mitch Golub states that it is hoped that that this growth will continue.
"We are confident that our largest-ever national marketing campaign
will deliver unprecedented results for our business," he said.
The two advertisements will run in the break of the 2008 Super Bowl on February 3rd in a time slot that Brandweek reported last month cost the company an estimated $2.6 million per 30-second slot.
