ChristmasTv.com launched in time for festive season

A new site, ChristmasTv.com, has been launched and will allow those feeling particularly festive to access continuous Christmas-themed music videos around the clock.
Launched by digital services company Gen2media, the site will mark the world's first digital TV network offering Christmas-themed programmes.
Accessing the site, which has already caught the attention of media professionals, is free until January 2nd 2009.
Mary Spio, president of Gen2Media, said that the generically named address will provide a site filled with "engaging, interactive and unique digital entertainment".
She furthered: "People need the spirit of Christmas more than ever this year and we are thrilled to be able to bring some holiday joy to millions of our customers for free."
This Christmas, techradar.com reported, more people will use the internet to buy gifts for their loved ones, but will hope to spend less than they have in previous years, according to a poll conducted by PriceGrabber.com.
