A host of recruitment fares will be arranged by the generic domain name CivilianJobs.com, it has emerged.
In what could provide a lifeline for the millions of people currently out of work due to the recession, the premium domain name, which connects members of the military with civilian jobs, has revealed that a range of fairs will be launched this spring.
Among the dates scheduled are Yuma, Arizona on March 13th, Fort Lewis, Washington on April 14th and Dyess in Texas on April 29th. Entry is free to military and veteran candidates.
"CivilianJobs.com Job Fairs are just one avenue for employers to reach military-experienced candidates," stated Bill Basnett, vice president of operations at the premium domain name.
He added that the website is also home to a jobs board which provides an easy and cost-effective way for both employers and candidates to access details and contact one another.
Those firms that deal in recruitment could attract similar attention by investing in a generic domain name, such as EmploymentAgency.com or ArmyDraft.com from which to host their operations.
