Sedo.com and GreatDomains.com have joined forces to become a much larger generic domain name marketplace.
The collaboration is designed to extend both companies' services and customer reach plus it allows them to maintain a hold as a leader in the generic domain name industry.
This means that all the domains listed on Sedo.com will now also be included on GreatDomains.com, meaning they get more exposure and marketing opportunities, plus premium auction events where they are sold to international bidders.
"As the industry begins to mature, providing different options and levels of service are critical to attracting an ever expanding customer base and maintaining our spectacular growth," said Tim Schumacher, the chief executive officer to Sedo.com.
He added that by "leveraging Sedo's leading electronic trading system and the worlds largest network of buyers and sellers", both brands will become better positioned and more effective for all their customers.
Sedo is an acronym for Search Engine for Domain Offers.
