Communicate.com announces record results

Internet commerce and media firm Communicate.com has announced record results for the third quarter (Q3) of 2007, according to Reuters.
The news agency states the site has reported year-to-date ecommerce revenues of around $4.85 million (£2.35 million) - a rise of 11 per cent on the previous year.
For Q3 itself, it was announced that a record rise 5 per cent on 2006 had been achieved with an estimated figure of $1.64 million.
Geoffrey Hampson, chairman and chief executive of Communicate.com, said that on joining the company he had focussed on improving management structures and using the generic domain name of the site to create a profitable brand.
"Over the next several quarters we will continue to strengthen the management team and board and begin to execute on a strategy that exploits our valuable domain name assets," he said.
During the period the company also made a number of appointments including Jonathan Ehrlich as president and chief operating officer and James P Taylor as chairman of the audit committee.
