CreateAds.com extends image database

CreateAds.com, a firm that may be reaping the rewards of its domain name investment, has announced that it has signed a deal with iStockphoto to help it expand its image collection database.
As a result of the partnership, users of CreateAds.com will be able to access over 2.6 million images - submitted by more than 47,000 worldwide contributors - to design their own advertisements.
Commenting on the newly reached agreement, chief executive of CreateAds.com Clive Gay said that it chose iStockphoto as a partner because the company has a "varied and culturally diverse collection" of images.
"Good images are essential in advertising but most small businesses can't afford traditional stock images," he added.
Meanwhile, Garth Johnson, vice president of business and community development at iStockphoto commented that the deal is "a perfect fit".
CreateAds.com, the automated ad creation system of the Newspaper Society of the United Kingdom, allows customers to use its tools to design and generate promotional artwork for UK magazines and newspapers.
