Debts.co.uk acquires Relax Finance, changes name

Having built a successful company using a generic domain name, Debts.co.uk has officially changed its name to the Relax Group, it was reported by Mortgage Strategy.
The name change follows Debts.co.uk's acquisition of Relax Finance earlier this month for around $5.9 million.
Relax's chief executive Ian Guy and director of partnerships Carl Kroger joined Debts.co.uk's board as chief operating officer and sales and marketing director respectively earlier in July, the mortgage website said.
This may indicate the potentially lucrative generic domain name Debts.co.uk will appear on the market in the future. With strong search engine optimisation capabilities it may make a good investment for someone wishing to add to their internet real estate portfolio.
The URL may also make for an attractive site for debt management company or debt support network in the United Kingdom.
Currently, however, the renamed Relax Finance is continuing to use the URL for its company.
