Dollars.com cashes in at over $380,000

Generic domain name Dollars.com has filled the coffers at Sedo after it fetched the second-highest sale price of the year so far.
The versatile, valuable domain name went under the hammer for $381,150 - the second highest price paid for a domain name so far in 2009.
It comes second only to fellow generic domain name Fly.com, which was snapped up by Travelzoo for $1,760,000 earlier this month.
A business dealing in sales, finance, accountancy or recruitment could make use of Dollars.com. Alternatively, it may make an ideal base for a search engine related to financial issues or savings.
It could also be used by a currency exchange firm or to keep professionals updated as to the goings-on in the world's stock exchanges.
Other money-related domain names that are still available for purchase include TwoDollars.com and MillionsOfDollars.com.
