Domain name conference details announced

The domain name community will be pleased to learn that details of the forthcoming 2009 GeoDomian Expo have been revealed.
Held in Chicago in 2008, the event is set for a venue change next year, is due to take place in San Diego on April 24th and 25th and is to be staged by Associated Cities.
Mark Burgess, head of the SanDiego.com team, will host the meeting of domain name experts, now in its fifth year.
Those enthusiasts who are hoping to attend the convergence could gain another advantage from the journey to San Diego, as the next Traffic conference is scheduled to be held in the same area on April 27th - 30th.
Domain name conferences often include live auctions conducted by well-known names in the industry.
The Traffic Down Under convergence, held in Australia for the first time last month, saw the sale of generic address Saws.com, which was snapped up for $52,000.
