Sedo, a German domain name trading ground, has announced it is expanding its business operations in the UK.
Following the launch of an office in Boston, Sedo will open a branch in Reading as it continues to build on its share of the British domain name market.
In September, it held a live UK domain auction that sold around $400,000 in domains. Since then sales of at least £100,000 have become common in the UK.
Nora Nanayakkara, UK operations director at Sedo, said "We are seeing a growing interest in the purchase of co.uk internet domain names in the secondary market.
"Over six million co.uk internet domain names are already registered and there is a shortage of available quality names."
Sedo claims to offer the world's biggest selection of premium domains, with at least nine million available for sale.
