Dotcom registrations offered at slashed prices

Website Best28.com has announced it is to offer its customers a discounted rate for registering dotcom domain names.
Some dotcom prices are to be dropped by 50 per cent, it was announced, with some names being offered up for a fee of $7.99 annually.
Up to 500 dotcom names can be registered per individual and also offered alongside this is domain name privacy, the firm iterated.
"Today domain names and web sites are an essential part of business as well as an individual's personal identity," explained Salil Mahajan, chief executive officer and business head at Best28.com.
"Each dotcom domain registration comes with free 10 Gigabyte web hosting, web site builder, blog and a spam-free personalised email account," he added.
In related news, registration site Dark Blue Sea reported its domain name sales went up from $1.985 million in 2007 to $5.807 million this year.
