EcoBags.com marks Earth Day with schools fundraising scheme

The environmentally friendly firm Eco-Bags Products is celebrating Earth Day and the 20th anniversary of the company's founding through its generic domain name EcoBags.com
During Earth Day 1989, chief executive officer and founder Sharon Rowe realised, after selling 5,000 bags in just a few hours, that her product was something special.
Ten years on in 1999, EcoBags.com was launched from the premium domain name and is still going strong another ten years down the line.
Ms Rowe stated: "The concept of 'going green' is now mainstream so it's time to go deeper into the conversations about packaging, energy conservation and sustainable products with a much larger, more involved public."
The site is now celebrating with the launch of EcoBags for Good, a programme designed to raise funds for non-profit groups and schools in the US.
