Exhibitions.co.uk launched by media group

An online media company has chosen a generically named domain to launch its latest UK exhibition industry website, it has emerged.
According to Venues.org.uk, Caroo Media - a division of The Tarsus Group - has given Exhibitions.co.uk a major overhaul that includes redesigning the site to increase awareness and business within the exhibitions industry.
The website reports that the generic domain name was acquired by The Tarsus Group July last year and at this time it was expressed that the site had been selected due to the opportunities that it provided.
Gaby Wilson, sales manager for Exhibitions.co.uk, said: "This acquisition means that Caroo Media has now a unique opportunity to maximise its potential in online media and [inject] new life into the industry's leading resource."
Currently Exhibitions.co.uk hosts a number of features including comprehensive listings for a wide selection of consumer, public, industrial and trade events being held in the UK.
