The premium domain name Dictionary.com, which is owned by the Ask.com empire, has announced the availability of a new iPhone application which could help users impress with their grammar skills.
Those using the application will be able to check that their speech is sharp by looking up definitions and usage through Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com, which, as generic domain names, are similar to QualityInfo.com and LearnFrench.com.
More than 275,000 definitions and 80,000 synonyms can be accessed by those struggling with their grammar or for those who simply fancy themselves as the next Lord Byron.
Subscribers to the application will also be able to access a word of the day, as well as an audio feature which allows them to hear the correct pronunciation of their searched-for words.
