25th June 2008 Five-figure deals for generic domain names

A number of high-value domain name sales have been sold, it was reported this week.
While Deals.de ranked top of DNJournal's top 30 for the week ending June 22nd with a private deal of over $100,000, Track.com and ComputerParts.com also hit the top five.
At the Moniker.com live auction at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East last month, Track.com was bought for $92,500. The deal was completed last week.
The website formerly sold athletic equipment but such a wide-reaching generic domain name could be used in any number of industries including automotive, music or outdoor leisure activities.
The completed deal was also announced for ComputerParts.com, which was sold for $80,000.
LabSupplies.com, CarCenter.com and ClassicCars.co.uk also appear on DNJournal.com's "Big Board", which lists the highest reported sales of each week. ExerciseClothing.com and BathSupplies.com were also sold recently.
Last month's T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East conference was held in Orlando, Florida, beginning with a cocktail party. The next T.R.A.F.F.I.C. will be in New York City in September.
