Generic domain name Fly.com has been launched as a public beta access site, it has emerged.
The site, which was recently bought by Travelzoo for an impressive $1,760,000, is now available in beta for those interested in researching travel deals.
Brian Clark, senior vice president for the new website, commented: "We are very excited to launch our travel search engine in beta, with a focus on quality, simplicity and value."
"Fly.com will allow the public to easily find the best prices, including combinations of Fly.com results and outstanding deals published by Travelzoo," he continued.
Now included on the site for bargain-hunting holidaymakers are convenient summary pages, information links and "world-class data sources", according to chief information officer Max Rayner.
"This is just our beta version," he stated. "There is more in store."
Firms that are searching for an equally versatile generic domain name may like to consider some top-end names that are currently on offer, such as LowPrices.com or BargainExcursions.com.
