Domain name holders can check the popularity of their domain name through a new free online resource.
DNFame is a new online tool that has been launched so domain name enthusiasts can keep tabs on the popularity and usefulness of the names they own.
The new utility allows the checking of page rank, back links and whether a certain address features on social networking sites.
Domain name owners can also check which search engines their names appear on through the tool and even see a score of one to ten regarding their coverage.
Those who do not yet have a domain name or website can also check up on the popularity and therefore practicality of buying a certain one.
