Film buffs the world may be pleased to learn that a brand new search engine for the movie world has been launched from the generic domain name FindAnyFilm.com.
Launched by the UK Film Council, the free search engine will allow users to search for their favourite films, or those that are obscure and hard-to-access.
The site contains information on 30,000 titles across 20 genres in over 60 languages.
A statement from the council said: "Like a Google for films, it is the first time anything like this has been delivered on the internet that indexes all available films in the UK and is totally free to use."
It is also designed to discourage illegal downloading and piracy by directing users to sites that sell their searched-for titles.
In other film-related developments, MovieTickets.com announced in December that it has partnered up with Clear Channel Radio to provide those who visit the entertainment provider's site with easier access to cinema tickets.
