The generic domain name Shows.com impressed audiences at an auction this week by being sold for an applause-worthy $102,000.
Auctioned by RickLatona.com at the recent Traffic convergence, Shows.com broke a leg as it went under the hammer for $102,000 before the curtain closed.
Shows.com was not the only top performer of Rick Latona's auction, which was held in Silicon Valley in California, informs Domain Name Journal.
As ever, generic domain names stood in the limelight as one technology-conscious bidder grabbed SmartPhones.com for $95,000 and another bagged RemoteControls.com for $32,000.
Though convergences are a good way of meeting like-minded entrepreneurs, as well as generating impressive sales.
However, those who prefer to purchase their premium domain names online may like to consider snapping up still-available prime internet real estate, such as Camera.com or MobilePhoneGames.com
