24th December 2008 Host of generic names sell for high prices

Three generic domain names have been sold for impressive figures, it has been revealed.
Domain Name Journal reported that in the spirit of the current recession FinancialAid.com sold for a total of $480,000 at a Moniker auction during a Traffic meeting in New York.
Also in the economic vein, FinancialAide.com sold for an impressive $320,000 at the same event.
The good news does not end there, however, as another generic domain name, JustInTime.com, was snapped up for $50,000 through auctioneers AfternicDLS.
Another high-value sale to take place in recent times was that of SanJuan.com.
The geographic name was sold for a total of $150,000 during Rick Latona's live auction at the Traffic Down Under convergence last month.
