A partnership between a site developer and a premium generic domain name owner has produced the useful Slideshow.com.
Domain owner Gil Benatar put forward the domain name, working with the company Domain Strategies to produce the resources available on the site.
Slideshow.com is being used as a database for sharing, posting and publishing pictures and presentations, according to DN Journal.
Scott Fasser, president and chief executive officer of Domain Strategies said: "We combined technology from Identity.net for single sign-on, iPaper for publishing from Scribd.com and open source image management, as well as proprietary content in order to create Slideshow.com."
Monster Venture Partners, run by Rob Monster, provided the funding for the new website.
Last month, Mr Monster launched generically named website Patents.com, which allows surfers to find information on patents in three different languages.
