A new service from a generically named kitchen refurbishment website is keeping ahead of the competition by offering an online before and after portfolio, it has emerged.
Kitchens.com, a site which provides a number of resources for homeowners seeking out their ideal kitchen, has announced that its latest web feature will target shoppers by providing a pictorial view of how their home could be improved.
"Our goal with the before and after portfolio is to engage readers, provide them the information and tools necessary to explore the projects and help them begin imagining ideas for their own kitchen remodels," said Kitchens.com spokeswoman Caitlin Grogan.
It is thought that it will also allow consumers an easier way of calculating an affordable way to budget for a refurbished kitchen as well as providing new design trends and ideas for creating culinary themes.
The site receives around 5.3 million "distinct visitors" every year, as well as an estimated 54 million page views and was founded in 1996 in Chicago.
