TUI Travel, parent company of the generic domain name LateRooms.com, has announced that the demand for hotel rooms has gone up.
According to figures from the organisation, bednights went up by almost a third during the last year.
This was attributed to various factors, such as the increased supply of available rooms and the range of favourable deals on offer.
TUI added that LateRooms.com has also seen a surge in the level of demand for summer bookings.
It is believed that this is due to people who avoided booking earlier in the year returning to the market.
The release of the figures comes shortly after Kathy Gwinnet, hotel relationships director at LateRooms.com, praised the company's strong performance.
"Figures show that customers are certainly getting impressive value for money when it comes to accommodation," she commented.
Ms Gwinnet added that the firm has a "great range" of deals on offer, including some in five-star hotels.
