LondonWalks.com struts away with an award for excellence

The firm which runs from the generic domain name LondonWalks.com has been awarded a gong for excellence at the recent Enjoy England Awards, which is organised by travel body VisitBritain.
Celebrating the efforts of LondonWalks.com, the Gold Award for Best Tourism Experience recognised the variety of the 400 tours on offer through the firm, as well as its "consistently […] fun, green entertaining and value for money experience all year round", according to the judges.
LondonWalks.com, one of the oldest urban walking organisations in the world, offers guided talks through Britain's bustling capital, including themed examples such as Gandhi's London and the Foodies, West End Walk.
Sally Chatterjee, interim chief executive of the firm, stated: "We are delighted for all our partners who won the awards last night and we send our congratulations to all the rest who took part."
