A generically named domain name offering advice and support to members of the armed forces has announced the launch of a range of new services.
According to a recent statement, Military.com has made available to its members a number of new resources aimed at improving its services and encouraging growth - while providing helpful advice for clients.
Military.com, which claims to be the largest military and veteran membership organisation in the US with more than ten million members, will now offer free online tax advice, classified advertisements, and graphic design services for free business cards.
In addition the site will provide an updated version of its Election Center page which offers educational material on political developments and a page entitled Fitness Channel which gives advice on service-required physical fitness tests.
Commenting on the launch, Loree Hirschman vice president for Military.com said that the site was keen to broaden its range of services and improve the daily lives of armed forces personnel and their families.
"Alliances with Intuit, VistaPrint and Oodle, as well as the launch of Military.com's Fitness Channel and updated Election Center, support our pursuit of this goal by providing relevant resources that can assist, educate and empower our members," she said.
Military.com covers a large range of people serving in the military or with armed forces-affiliated careers and is a subsidiary of Monster Worldwide.
