Premium generic domain name Name.com has gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to security by joining the Verisign Identity Protection Network, it has been revealed.
The website has now decided to offer its client base the opportunity to use Verisign's Identity Protection Network and create a safer, hack-proof password using its two-factor VIP authentication system.
This system devises a one-time password that is verified by Name.com and can be used across any VIP-enabled site.
"Domain names are digital brands and we bear huge responsibility to ensure that their clients have access to the most advanced security safeguard available," explained chief executive officer and founder of Name.com Bill Mushkin.
Another premium domain name, Dealer.com, has been focusing on its efforts to enhance services for mobile internet users, as it recently announced the launch a series of websites designed for navigation on mobile handsets.
