Domain name news brought to you by DescriptiveDomainNames.com
Bido.com, a new domain name auction site, went online last week.
The site features one online auction per day "so names don't get lost in the shuffle". This is also to maximise the exposure of sellers' domain names, according to the Bido.com.
Generic domain names will also be auctioned in the near future, with MarriageRights.com and HouseTips.com coming up in the next week.
Bido.com also features comments from experts who discuss the profitability and potential bids of the domain names on offer. Rob Sequin from SearchDomainsForSale.com and Jeffrey Reynolds of Precision Marketing Solutions have recently posted their opinions.
According to DNJournal.com, it was speculated that only positive comments would be allowed to be posted on the new site but its first daily auction attracted mixed opinions.
The auction site guarantees a minimum sales price and charges a rate of commission at eight per cent.
HouseTips.com is expected to attract the DIY industry while the increase in civil marriage ceremonies may affect bids on MarriageRights.com.
