Phone.com has partnered with Voxbone to offer its users a service that allows them to make convenient calls to their overseas counterparts, it has been revealed.
The site, whose operations are based in Boston, chose Voxbone to deliver a service to its customer base that will enable them to call phone numbers in 5,000 cities in a total of 46 countries.
Voxbone will supply direct-inward-dial (DID) numbers abroad and when clients call them back, they will be able to leave messages at a virtual office provided by Phone.com.
"Voxbone's DIDs in foreign markets help our customers look international and even transact internationally," stated chief executive officer of Phone.com Ari Rabban.
It was added that the firm chose Voxbone in particular due to its "long record of reliability" as well as "its ability to aggregate and send us traffic collected from several points overseas".
Another successful generic website, Apartments.com, recently teamed up with Moving Off Campus in a bid to reach a larger base of students in the US looking to find accommodation during their studies.
