RetiredSingles.com launches

A new generic domain name could become the first port of call for older daters, its owners are hoping.
Robert Russo and Harvey Kaplan recently launched RetiredSingles.com as the potential solution for singles aged over 45 and looking for love.
According to the start-up, its target market makes up more than 40 per cent of the US population. And with 95 per cent of 'retired singles' being computer literate, Mr Russo believes many will appreciate their service.
RetiredSingles.com will offer a more personalised feel than that of other mainstream dating sites, he added.
"When dealing with personal information and the delicate psychology of dating it is vital to understand the level of sensitivity and the need for personal service," he explained.
Entrepreneurs looking to branch out into the same arena as RetiredSingles.com might like to bid for generic domain names such as OverForties.com and PeopleSeekers.com.
