The owners of generically named site ScanMyphotos.com have added another generic address to their portfolio.
Snapping up WallStreetScanning.com, president and chief executive officer of ScanMyPhotos.com Mitch Goldstone has spoken out on why he made the purchase.
"Why should Wall Street bankers be the only ones collecting more than $800 billion in government bailouts?" he asked.
"I am spoofing them by adding the Wall Street moniker to demonstrate how absurd this bailout is," Mr Goldstone furthered.
He said any proceeds from the new site will go towards bolstering the photo site to hire more employees and expand the resources on offer to customers.
ScanMyPhotos.com has preserved more than nine million photos and is often recognized by the US media for its new programmes and was recently profiled in the New York Times.
Another firm that has been identifying the benefits of generic sites is Microsoft, as the software company bought up SearchPerks.com and Cashback.com in order to use them for various schemes.
