Domain name registrar Sedo has launched its first-ever online auction with no reserve prices featured on the names available.
The auction begins on February 26th at 13:00 and ends at the same time on March 5th.
Domain Name Journal reports that hosting a no-reserve auction usually means that the names on offer are "low quality". However, it adds, this time has proved to be different, as Sedo plans to put some premium domain names on the auction block.
Generic domain name Deposits.com will be up for grabs, the website informs, as well as Wait.net and Ran.co.uk.
Jeremiah Johnson, chief operating officer of Sedo, said: "Our no-reserves auction presents an excellent opportunity to acquire a highly valuable, mainstream domain at an affordable price, as buyers are not restricted to a pre-determined value set by the seller."
Some other premium domain names that may prove to be useful for firms are currently available through the DOTCOM Agency and include Printers.com,ImportsUK.com, and CashRegisters.com.
