Dark Blue Sea, of which Fabulous.com is a subsidiary company, has reported a growth in the sale of domain names within the last year.
Domain Name Wire relayed that the organisation's latest report has revealed its sales have surged in the 12 months to June.
The firm has reported that it has sold $5.807 million worth of domain names within that period, up from $1.985 million in 2007, a figure excluding premium sales, which alone amount to $600,000.
Maybe the success is down to its resale partnership with registrars GoDaddy - Dark Blue Sea has predicted sales of 45,000 domain names thorough this channel.
Dark Blue Sea's registrar business has also seen an increase in profit, Domain Name Wire further reports, as its revenue rose from $3.298 million in 2007 to $5.606 million in 2008.
Fabulous.com has just announced it is to hold an auction in association with Traffic at its next domain name conference, which is entitled Traffic Down Under and scheduled to be held in Australia.
