One of the US' fastest growing small businesses has revealed it is pleased with its latest financial results.
Stamps.com - the site with a generic domain name that was one of Fortune Small Business' fastest growing firms - has announced a total revenue of $20.2 million (£12.9 million) for the third quarter of 2008.
While this is down one per cent on a year ago, the company - which offers online postage services - is happy with the performance amid a "tough macroeconomic climate".
"Overall, we believe that our core PC postage business is a very stable and predictable model and we expect that our recurring revenue business will allow us to continue to produce solid earnings in tough times," said Ken McBride, Stamps.com president and chief executive.
Looking at the year as a whole, Stamps.com expects the total annual revenue to close at between $80 million and $90 million.
