31st January 2008 Strong week for high generic domain sales

This week has seen a number of high value sales in the generic domain name industry, according to a new report.
The weekly domain sales report from DNJournal.com has listed a number of acquisitions that have attracted large bids and impressive final sales including ChefUniforms.com which traded in a private sale for $65,000.
Prior to this, the website reports, the singular version of the generic domain name ChefUniform.com showed that interest was likely to be high having sold for $20,000.
It is also reported that auctions from AfternicDLS saw a number of high value .com sales with VeteransLoans.com coming out with the highest price tag of $35,000.
Other major sales reported by BusinessWire.com this week included Bookmarks.com ($300,000), Photograph.com ($195,000), Yemen.com ($100,000) and Females.com ($90,000).
