29th April 2009 Tempting recipe application unveiled by Food.com
Domain name news brought to you by DescriptiveDomainNames.com
Aspiring Delias and wannabe Ramseys may be pleased to hear that Food.com is about to launch the internet's ultimate recipe search engine.
Separating the wheat from the chaff when it comes to recipes, the premium domain name Food.com, which is currently being beta tested, will serve as a helpful search engine for those about to slip on the oven gloves and impress their loved ones with a culinary masterpiece.
Rather than sifting through internet pages of amateur recipes, Food.com will allow users to access the finest recipes from top sites such as Food & Wine, Epicurious, Cooking Light and Chow.com.
The Food Section reports that "interestingly, Food.com doesn't only list recipe titles from the other recipe sites. It generates a thumbnail photo and […] scrapes the entire ingredient lists as well".
Like the straightforward address Food.com, other generic domain names that could be used as hubs for information by aspiring businesses include the still-available Calories.com and BasicFoodGroups.com.
