10th October 2008 Traffic goes 'down under' with new event
Domain name news brought to you by DescriptiveDomainNames.com
Traffic has teamed up with Fabulous.com to announce the advent of yet another domain name conference - this time, in Australia.
Scheduled to take place from November 18th to 20th, the conference will be held at the Sheraton Mirage Resort, Queensland and will see another auction held by domain name mogul Rick Latona.
A second auction, held by Aftermarket.com, will see the sale of at least 25 .au names, as well as the offering of 50 per cent of the names with no fixed reserve price.
Submissions for names will be accepted by Aftermarket.com until November 1st.
Featuring during the two-day convergence will be "intense workshops", "key industry speakers" and "social events", the website claims.
At the Brooklyn convergence earlier this month, several generic domain names were invested in by business-savvy dabblers, such as literature.com, plans.com and presents.com, which went for $60,000, $70,000 and $80,000 respectively.
