Double-Take Software has opted for an optimisation tool from premium generic domain name Translations.com to improve usability for its customers, it has been revealed.
The site's automated content optimisation utility, entitled ABREVE, has been purchased by Double-Take Software as part of its bid to increase its usability and reduce localisation expenses.
Director of solutions at Double-Take Bob Roudebush said: "As we continue to expand internationally, we want to ensure that we are providing content that is clear, consistent and easily understood, regardless of the language."
Vice president of Translations.com Hans Fenstermacher highlighted that "the benefits of optimising source content are magnified" when websites break through language barriers.
He added that ABREVE will allow the firm to overhaul its catalogues, user guides and software in the future.
Translations.com made the news again recently as the Doritos Dash of Destruction Xbox Live Arcade game, for which it provided translation services, was completed.
