Vodkas.com provides a shot of good news with $28,000 sale

No doubt the former owner of Vodkas.com is raising a glass to celebrate the news that the generic domain name sold this week for an impressive $28,595.
The patch of internet real estate, which could be likened other still-available gastronomical addresses such as Confectionery.com and LiquorDispensers.com, could provide a virtual drinks cabinet for those who want to peruse the finest brands of vodka currently on sale.
Sold by Sedo, Vodkas.com was auctioned alongside DiscountCandles.com, which was snapped up for $13,500.
Other generic domain name sales this week included that of PluglessPower.com, which was sold by AfternicDLS for $12,500 and CafeHabana.com, for which RobSequin.com received $18,000.
Webcam.com was also sold this week by Rick Latona for an impressive $1.02 million.
